The work / Experience with range
A commercial mind.
A hands-on approach.
I’ve worked on both sides of a business promise: winning the customer and making sure the business can deliver. My experience connects ownership, sales, operations, creative direction, and the practical possibilities of technology.
Win the relationship.
Prospecting, executive conversations, consultative selling, negotiation, closing, and growing the account afterward.
Connect the moving parts.
Customer commitments, product availability, logistics, and service need to work together. Ownership keeps that full picture in view.
Find another way forward.
Marketing, design, brands, and hands-on application work bring different tools to a business problem.
Hayes Timber
The full commercial cycle.
And the responsibility behind it.
At Hayes Timber, my work starts well before an agreement is signed and continues long after. I’ve owned prospecting, executive outreach, relationship development, negotiation, closing, retention, and account growth.
That means understanding what a customer needs, developing the commercial relationship, and connecting the commitment to the practical realities of product availability, logistics, and service. Business ownership has made sales and operations parts of the same conversation.
What that work has involved
- Agreements up to $4.5 million.
- Building executive relationships and developing new customer opportunities.
- Growing and retaining accounts through continuing commercial relationships.
- Aligning customer commitments with supply, delivery, and service.
- Applying digital tools and business workflows to the operation.
Winning the agreement is one part of the work. Building a business that can stand behind it matters just as much.
SiriusXM Canada
Three hundred relationships.
One dealership at a time.
My SiriusXM experience connected a national subscription offering with the people who introduced it to customers: dealership owners, managers, and sales teams across Ontario.
I developed and managed relationships with more than 300 automotive dealerships. The work included subscription adoption, dealership enrolment, training, and partner enablement—helping an individual dealership understand the programme and put it into practice.
The experience I carry forward
- Developing a broad partner network while maintaining individual relationships.
- Working with owners, management, and frontline teams.
- Connecting consultative conversations with subscription adoption.
- Helping partners understand an offering and how to introduce it.
A network becomes useful through the people inside it. The relationship is where the work happens.
Porsche.
Audi.
Mercedes-Benz.
High-value decisions.
Personal confidence.
Premium automotive sales brought me into conversations where the product mattered, but so did the person making the decision. My work included understanding customer priorities, knowing the product, building confidence, negotiating, and following the purchase through to completion.
Across Porsche and Audi, I ranked among the top 5% nationally for sales performance. My automotive background also includes Mercedes-Benz.
That experience remains useful in a very different business conversation: listening closely, understanding what a customer values, explaining the offer clearly, and earning confidence through the quality of the interaction.
Canadian Crafted Co.
& Bliss Inspired
Give the idea a shape.
Then bring it to market.
My work across Canadian Crafted Co. and Bliss Inspired connects entrepreneurship with brand development: product ideas, identity, marketing, and the digital and retail channels that bring an offer to a customer.
A marketing education and a graphic design background give me another way into a business problem. I’m interested in how the product, the story, and the customer experience fit together—from an initial impression to a buying decision.
Where the experience connects
- Business ownership and creative direction.
- Consumer, outdoor, and lifestyle brand development.
- Product positioning, brand identity, and digital marketing.
- Connecting an offer to digital and retail sales channels.
These named brands sit within a broader entrepreneurial history. I’ve founded, bought, sold, and developed companies, including businesses that needed to be built out and brought to market.
Applications.
Connections.
Useful systems.
The interface is the beginning.
The connections make it useful.
I build applications working hands-on with the web experience and the backend systems that support it. That includes databases, authentication, API connections, and the workflows that move information into a useful action.
My projects include social-media management workflows connecting Facebook and Instagram: authentication, consolidated analytics, content scheduling, publishing, and calendars. I’ve also worked on business systems connected to Hayes Timber and Vantage Point Creative.
A working example: Career Command AI
My private career workspace brings together job research, resume versions, cover letters, document storage, approvals, and application tracking. It uses a local application alongside Supabase authentication and private data storage.
That project combines a real workflow with practical implementation: import source material, keep versions, tailor documents, review them, and track what happens next.
This is hands-on software-building experience alongside a commercial career. It gives me a practical connection to the tools I’m learning and using.
A useful person
in the conversation.
Start with the business.
Understand the people.
I’ve worked with businesses through consulting and collaboration at different points in my career. I bring the perspective of someone who has owned companies, developed customers, worked in premium sales, and stayed close to the practical work of building.
I’m interested in conversations about an opportunity, how a business presents itself, how it reaches customers, or where a useful digital workflow could make the moving parts easier to manage.
My background gives me several ways to look at a problem. The starting point is understanding the situation well enough to choose the right one.
